Mariah was the NUMBER 1 AFGHAN BITCH in NSW for 2001 (Afghan Hound Club point score competition).
Mariah won BEST IN SHOW at the Queensland Afghan Hound Association Specialty Show in 2001 under N.Z. breed specialist Annette Buxton. She also won Runner-up BEST IN SHOW in consecutive years at the ACT Afghan Hound Club Specialty Shows in Canberra - in 2001 under U.K. breed specialist Linda Race and in 2000 under well known Australian breed specialist Wendye Slatyer (Calahorra Kennels).
