Taejon At Tiffanys


Not to be out-done by her sister and just one week after arriving at her new home (for a while) in South Australia, Angie wins Best of Breed and R/U Best in Hound Group (Group 2) at the New Years Eve Show in Adelaide.

During her stay in South Australia Angie is co-owned with Birgit Ferguson and Kyra Carr and exclusively handled by Kyra.
Flash: Angie goes one better the next day - winning BOB and BIG (Group 1) at the first show for 2008. Well done Kyra and Angie on these great wins!!!



 

Taejon De Lladro


Lladro wins Best of Breed and R/U Best in Hound Group (Group 2) at the 2007 Dogs NSW Christmas Show over a huge hound entry under Breed and Hound Specialist Judge Molly Rule-Steele.

This is a great win for Lladro at just 17 months of age and at one of Sydney's largest all breeds shows for the year.

Lladro and her litter sister (see below) have continued their dominance through the Puppy and Junior Bitch classes at all breeds and speciaty shows.

Angie has also been sweeping all before her at limited outings. At this specialty she was placed 2nd behind Lladro continuing the dominant partnership that she has developed with her sister.

On this occasion Angie is expertly handled by Kyra Carr (from Adelaide) and we thank her very much for her handling.

Our very slow maturing boy wins the puppy dog class, with his litter brother Jose coming in second behind him.

Tenor is pictured here having a "tug o war" with judge and handler to see who gets to keep the prize.



ACT 11th November - Judge Phillipe Gallardo (Spain)

Lladro wins the Junior Class at this specialty, creating a dominant record in her class at Specialty shows.

Delta has also been having a dominant streak at specialties in 2007. On this occasion she was awarded Reserve CC.

ACT 10th November - Judge Stephen Wheeler (Sweden, Ex-Aus)

At her first specialty show after winning BIS at the Queensland Specialty, Delta wins Bitch CC and Opposite Sex in Show under Stephen Wheeler, formerly from Australia but now Sweden.

At her first show since winning Best Puppy Bitch at the Queensland Specialty in June, Angie comes out and does it again, this time winning Junior Bitch at the ACT Specialty Show (with Lladro a close second behind her) in extremely competitive company.

Cementing their dominamce through the age classes, Lladro again finishes 2nd behind Angie, this time in Junior Bitch.

July - August



Taejon Jose Carreras


Jose has now gone to his new home with Mick Owler and Rebel here in Sydney.

On his first weekend out with Mick, as a minor puppy Jose won an 11 point dog CC and R/U best of breed. Following that he has now won a further 2 CC's and a Minor in Group.

Taejon De Lladro


Lladro has continued on her winning ways attaining 3 more CC's during this period and is now more than half way to her Australian Championship title - at just 13 months.


June



Ch Taejon Mercury Rising


It is with deep sadness that we had to say goodbye to our beautiful domino boy "Diesel" at the end of June.

A great "Afghan" character missed by all at taejon - taken far too young at just 6 years of age.




At the Queensland Specialty


Ch Karakush U Calyptus wins the big one this time - Best in Show under Jayne Edwards (UK). We are extremely thrilled with this win which follows closely after her R/U BIS at the NSW Specialty in April.

          


Taejon At Tiffanys wins best puppy bitch, with her sister Taejon De Lladro a close second behind her. Their litter brother Taejon El Dorado also achieved 2nd place in the puppy dog class. All this in very competitive puppy classes.

          



At the Afghan Hound Club of NSW Parade


Taejon De Lladro wins R/U Best in Show and Best Puppy in Show, and her brother Taejon El Dorado wins Best Dog, O/S in Show and O/S Puppy in Show - Judge Lyn Brown (NSW).

          


Their younger brother Taejon Jose Carreras wins best baby puppy at the same parade.




And in Adelaide


Taejon Placido Domingo from Tiffany's second litter wins Best Baby Puppy in Show at his first show - only to repeat the effort at his second show one week later. Yes Baby in Show at his first 2 shows - well done Birgit and Nic !!!

Lladro wins another CC over adult competition under Hound Specialist Frank Peiterse (NSW) at Ladies Kennel Club of NSW.


April



Ch Karakush U Calyptus


Delta wins bitch CC and Runner-up Best in Show at the Afghan Hound Club of NSW 86th Specialty show under judge Clair Van Den Bergh (South Africa).

On the previous day at the 85th Specialty Show she also won best Australian Bred bitch in Show under judge Keith Thornton (UK).

One week later Delta wins Best of Breed at the prestigious NSW Hound Club Show - over an impressive array of the "best".

Lladro wins her second CC and then goes on to R/U best of breed and best puppy in group at the Blacktown Kennel & Training Club Show on 10th March. This is her second CC - and still only 8 months old.

Since going to her new home on the NSW Mid North Coast Trinity is also setting the pace, having won 2 CC's, 1 best of breed, and two best minor puppy in group awards.

Not to be out-done by the young stars, Delta wins best of breed and R/U best in group at the Castle Hill Show on 18th March.


January - February



Taejon De Lladro


Lladro wins the Bitch CC, Runner-up Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Hound Group at the Dogs NSW Fundraising Show on 17th February.

The judge was well known breed specialist Louise Hickie (Gengala).



Taejon Trinity De Cartier


Trinity has now gone to her new home on the NSW Mid-North Coast with Lesley, Alister and Dawn Currie, and is now settling in preparing for her show carreer with them.

We wish the Curries all the best for Trinity's future.
