Hughie wins his second Specialty Best in Show at the ACT Afghan Hound Club show on Sunday 14th November under Ms E Stadler (South Africa). This is a fantastic result for this amazing moving hound.
Hughie's daughter Ch Taejon Esperanza went Best Intermediate in Show to cap off an exciting day - well done Paula!!

I have just returned from judging at the Skokloster Summer Sighthound Shows where I awarded DK FI INT LT NO NORD SE CH Agha-Djaris Urban Cowboy Best of Breed and he went on to win Best in Show under German judge Manfred Langer.

Saturday August 14th - Hope wins BOB and Junior in Group at the ACT Ladies KC under Hound Specialist Mrs. C Currie-Thompson (SA)

Following his BIS in June, Hughie wins BOB and Best in Group Sutherland All Breeds Kennel Club under judge Ms J Potts (SA) and then the next week wins BOB at North of the Harbour Winter Classic under judge Mr Chin-Fa Tsai (Taiwan).
Hughie is certainly making his presence felt now!!

Hughie wins Best in Show at Parramatta All Breeds Kennel Club under judges Mr R Cleland SA (hound group - entry 146) and Mrs H Pederson (general specials - total entry 1047).
This was a great win at one of Sydney's larger Metropolitan All Breeds Shows.

Following her NSW Specialty CC in April, Angie again wins a tough open bitch class and this time reserve bitch CC at the Queensland Specialty Show under judge Cynzia Aymaretti (Italy).
Well done Angie on another great specialty result.

On 2nd of June Jules and Stephen became proud parents of Jessica Sherree and Paul and Lyn became very happy and excited grand-parents.

A huge congratulations to Paula Batten on attaining Hope's Aust Championship title at just 13 months of age.
Hope has had many notable wins on the way to her title including multiple specialty in show awards and all breeds puppy in show.
This gorgeous girl with personality plus is adored, co-owned and proudly exhibited by Paula Batten. Congratulations and well done Paula & Hope - we are so proud!!

Our gorgeous Tiffany daughter wins Bitch CC and Best Opposite Sex in Show at the Afghan Hound Club of NSW 92nd Specialty show under breed specialist judge G Parsell (UK). Now the second specialty CC winner for Tiffany after her brother won SBIS late last year.

Jose continues with another specialty win taking out Oprosite Sex Australian Bred in Show at the Afghan Hound Club of NSW 92nd Specialty show under breed specialist judge G Parsell (UK), handled by a "very" pregnant Julieanne.

At his first shows since the ACT Specialty in November 2009 where he was Best Puppy in Show, Raffles had a succcessful day winning Best Puppy in Group at consecutive Wollongong Kennel Club Shows (Judges Mrs H Beasley - NSW and Ms H King - SA) as well as reserve dog CC over adult competition (Judge Ms H King - SA).
We are very excited by these wins as Raffles is now getting his act in order !!

Paula & Hope have a succcessful first day out together in 2010 by winning Best of Breed and Puppy in Group under C. Roberts (NSW) and then Best Puppy in Show under V. Morrow (NSW).
