Taejon Afghans
Is the kennel of Lyn and Paul Britza and our daughter Julieanne. It is located in the rural area of Dural in the beautiful hills district surrounding Sydney, some 40 kilometres from its heart. Natural bushland and wild-life (non-afghan hound variety) abounds in this area.
Our involvement in Afghan Hounds commenced in the early 1970's. From an extremely limited number of litters we have produced more than 30 champions in Australia, New Zealand, Norway, South Africa and Mexico as well as International and Supreme champions.
In addition to this our home bred stud dog (Ch. Taejon Parallax View) has sired champions for other kennels in many different countries (Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Norway, Sweden, South Africa, Japan and USA).

Exhibiting Our Dogs
Has always been an exciting sport for us with all our dogs being prepared and handled by us.
Our Current Successes are due somewhat to the emphasis we have always placed on the quality of our bitches.
In 2004 Multiple B.I.S. Grand Ch. Furbari Tiffany Diamond was #1 Afghan bitch and #2 Afghan. In 2002 and 2003 she was #1 Afghan and in 2003 she was also NSW Hound of the Year and #1 Hound and #2 All Breeds (NSW).
In 2001 SBIS Ch. Taejon Without Doubt was #1 Afghan bitch, narrowly ahead of kennel mate Tiffany who #2 bitch to her (NSW).

Judging
Besides having judged Afghan Hounds since 1988, Paul is also licensed to judge all Hounds (Sighthounds and Scent Hounds) and all Toy (Companion) breeds.
As well as having judged in Australia, Paul has judged Afghan Hounds at Specialty and All Breeds Shows in the U.S.A., Europe and New Zealand.
Lyn has judged at Afghan Hound Matches in Australia as well as Specialty Sweepstakes in the U.S.A.
